Friendly waitress knowledgable about meals, had dinner there before the Elvis event, fun evening

Just bought 4 gallons of sweet tea for a group. Owner wandered around and totally ignored us. I asked cashier about a sleeve of cups and owner “barked” out, “$5.00!” I just spent nearly $30 on tea and that’s all she could say? Been there before for lunch and enjoyed food and people. Not sure what her problem was!

Great place to eat!! Food is always good.. I got the salmon over rice plate with a salad, mixed veggies (squash, zucchini and onions). Was perfect!!

Best fish I've eaten in the area! Perfectly breaded and seasoned like you are at the beach eating it fresh! Cold beer, great variety. Staff is super nice and friendly! My new favorite place to dine!

Our food was delicious. I had chicken salad bacon wrap with sweet potato fries. The staff was helpful and friendly. The feel was hometown friendly. Can't wait to go back.

First eats in NC. Seated immediately, waiter had a menu at me just as I settled. Grabbed a (great) beer and an incredible burger (the "Garlic Bacon Burger") for <$15. Will be returning. Repeatedly.

Great food and good service

Place has great food! My biggest complaint is the last few times we have been there that the service has not been very good we have had to find the waitress to get our check, however I would still go back just allow more time to get served.

The food was ok. Not bad but a bit pricey and I found a hair in my pasta salad. The waitress only offered to bring more pasta salad.

Wonderful place to eat with great servers and delicious food! I had the French Dip sandwich and hot chips and it was to die for! Definitely will go back next time I am in the area!

Restored, vintage building with a cozy atmosphere. Multiple televisions allowed for easy playoff viewing. Staff was polite and attentive. We ordered different items, salmon and a French dip sandwich. Each dish was a large serving and delicious. Thank you for a nice evening.

Was looking forward to my first meal at this little restaurant. My oldest son had told me how good it was. I ordered the crab dip appetizer and on my second bite, chipped a tooth on a decent size piece of shell. When my shrimp and grits (entree) came to the table, I was starving...they were more of the cream of wheat consistency and were bland with barely any cheese. There was a good amount of shrimp and they were cooked well. The grits were so thin, they fell between the fork tongs. When the waitress saw that 85% of my grits were still in the bowl, she asked why I didn't like them and after hearing my response, went to get the owner. She came to the table, gave several smart a*◇ answers and carried the bowl off, never apologizing or offering to remove the entree from our bill. I was not only dissatisfied with the food but the owner's response to our dislike of the entree, left a very sour taste in my mouth...

This place is awesome! Great food, great people, have never had a bad experience here. Even had our wedding reception here.

Love this restaurant will go out of my way while going down I-40 to drop in for great food and friendly service.

This is a great place to dine and will Not disappoint! We live 20 miles away and eat there about twice a week. The staff is friendly and the food is awesome!

My family and I had a great time experience. We came in for dinner and was seated quickly. The menu had a great selection. The server was very professional and pleasant. Dinner was served quickly.

I love this place! Delicious food with fresh ingredients. Great, friendly service. They blow other (more expensive) restaurants away with their steak/salmon and they're perfectly cooked every time. Bar selection is impressive, especially being located in a small town. 10/10, highly recommend this place!

First time here tonight. Service was terrible, food was just OK and took an extremely long time to come out. We both had the garlic bacon burger which was way too salty, too much garlic (we didn't know it was possible), and too much mayo. Had our waitress come back more than once I probably would have sent it back. Waitress was nice but only came on occasion, never brought us any more napkins that we asked for, and only checked on us right after the food was out. Not a place we'll go back to.

We had a wonderful family style wedding reception in their new back room. The staff could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. Even with the large party, food and drinks were quick and delicious! Big thanks to restaurant 101!

This is my favorite place in town. The buffalo chicken wrap is the best. Always delicious food and good service!

I had the special that night which was an 8oz sirloin topped with shrimp and sauce. The food was good, especially the mashed potatoes. I would have liked a second side, other than a roll, included to make the meal more complete. The desert was a slice of cake for $4 which is a pretty good deal these days. The restaurant was crowded, but I especially liked the fact that no music was blaring so you could still hear your partner speaking, a rarity when eating in public these days.

Had lunch: crab cake with sweet potato fries. Food was excellent, with friendly, attentive service to our group of eight. I recommend the back deck (all season), which is quieter and more spacious than the front. Did not have dessert, but choices sounded good.

Very good Ruben and price was lower than I expected. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area! Good selection of drinks as well!

I stopped in because my sons barber was across the street and I had never been there before. The food was so excellent even my picky eater sons wanted some and what they got was excellent too. Highly recommended it was delicious!

Went there with my sister's friends and my classmates. Food was wonderful. Customer service: there is this waitress, Ashley. Very friendly. Her being able to remember our orders literally surprised me. No pens or papers. Amazing.

The sausage chicken gumbo was outstanding. The porkskins are worth a return trip. Loved everything and Crystal was excellent!!

Food is amazing!! I had a buffalo chicken wrap with hot chips that was great. The person I was having lunch with had a catfish platter that was served with slaw and onion rings. The onion rings were delicious. Very generous portions!!I drove 30 minutes and it was well worth the trip!!!! It is a must try
